Dmarc Overview

Weekly and PDF reports

DMARC+ can send a weekly summary by email and can produce a formatted report you can share with leadership or auditors.

Weekly DMARC+ report

Who gets it

Members of an organization that has the DMARC module enabled. It is sent automatically, once a week, for the previous 7 days.

Note: the exact day and time are set by the platform and can change. If you need a fixed reporting day, use a scheduled report instead (see below).

What it contains

Section Contents
Heading "Your Weekly DMARC+ Report" and the date range
Totals Number of domains and messages, split into Compliant, Non-Compliant, Threat/Unknown and Forwarded
Chart A summary chart, shown when there is mail in the period
Top sending sources Up to 15 sources by volume
Domain rows For each domain: messages, failures, DMARC pass rate, DNS status, policy (or "Not Configured") and number of sources
Policy and DNS counts How many domains use each policy, and how many have valid SPF, DMARC and DKIM records
Links To the Domains page and the Aggregate Reports Explorer

The Compliant, Non-Compliant, Threat/Unknown and Forwarded groups reflect what receivers did with the mail, so at p=none failing mail counts as Compliant. See Dashboard.

When you do not get it

Situation Reason
Your organization has no DMARC domains The report is skipped when there is nothing to report
The module is not enabled Only organizations with the DMARC module receive it
Your domains had no mail in the week You still receive the report, but without the chart and with zero totals
It went to spam Allow the sender in your mail system

If a report is missing, see Troubleshooting.
