Signing up
There are four ways to get a Hunto account, and they behave differently:
| How you arrived | What happens | Do you wait? |
|---|---|---|
| You signed yourself up | You apply, verify your e-mail, and our team reviews the application | Yes, for the review |
| Someone at your company invited you | You join their existing workspace | No |
| A partner is onboarding you | The partner creates your workspace and invites you | No, but see below |
| You applied to become a partner | Our team reviews the application | Yes |
Signing yourself up
Go to the sign-in page and choose Create Account. There are three short steps.
Step 1 of 3 · Company details
- First name and Last name
- Organisation name. Use your company's legal name, because it appears on invoices.
Step 2 of 3 · Account details
- Work email
- Password
Press Send verification code.
Step 3 of 3 · Verify email
Enter the six-digit code we e-mail you and press Verify email.
Your application is then sent for review, and the page shows Awaiting administrator approval. Nothing has been bought at this point; approval and payment are separate. Press Check status on that page, or simply try signing in later. Once the application is approved, Sign in takes you straight in.
Use your work e-mail
We refuse these addresses:
- personal addresses such as Gmail or Outlook.com;
- disposable addresses;
- addresses whose domain cannot receive mail.
A workspace belongs to a company, and the company domain is how colleagues join your workspace later instead of creating a second one.
If the address already has a Hunto account, you are asked to sign in instead.
Choosing a password
Use at least 10 characters. Don't include your e-mail name, and avoid common passwords. The form checks a simpler rule first, so a password can pass the form and still be refused after you press the button.
If the code does not arrive
- Check your spam folder.
- Wait 60 seconds before pressing Request another code. An immediate resend is refused, and the page tells you how long to wait.
- The code is valid for 10 minutes.
- Five wrong entries cancel the code, and the correct code stops working after that. Request a new one.
Being invited by an admin
An administrator at your company sends you an invitation link. Follow it and complete the same form, typing the exact address the invitation was sent to. You join their workspace rather than creating a new one, and you get whatever that organisation is entitled to. There is no review.
- An invitation link works once and expires after 7 days. If it has been used or has expired, ask for a new one. Sending a new invitation cancels the old link.
- If you already have a Hunto account, enter your existing password to join the new workspace.
Being onboarded by a partner
If you bought Hunto through a partner, they create your workspace and invite you into it. Your plan, credits and billing are handled by them, and the Billing pages will say "Your partner manages your billing" instead of offering checkout.
If you sign in and see "No workspaces found", your workspace has not been switched on yet. Ask your partner or contact support.
Applying to become a partner
Use Apply to become a partner at the bottom of the sign-up page. Our team always reviews partner applications, because a partner account can see its customers' workspaces.
Signing in
- On Sign in to Hunto, enter your e-mail under Email or Username and press Next.
- On Check your email, enter the code we sent you. To sign in with your password instead, choose Use Password Instead. From the password screen, Use email OTP instead takes you back to the code.
- If you belong to more than one organisation, pick one on Select workspace.
Forgotten your password? Choose Use Password Instead, then Forgot password?.
Five wrong passwords lock the account for 15 minutes, and we e-mail you when that happens.
What happens next
Once you are in, add your organisation's domain and discovery starts. See From signup to your first findings.
