Cisco Secure Email (IronPort) Whitelisting

Cisco Secure Email (IronPort) Whitelisting

Whitelist your PhishGrid sending domains and IPs (see Sending Domains & IPs) on Cisco Secure Email Gateway / IronPort ESA.

  1. Mail Policies → HAT Overview — add your PhishGrid sending IPs to the ALLOWED_LIST sender group (or a dedicated sender group).
  2. Attach a Mail Flow Policy to that sender group with Anti-Spam, Graymail, and Outbreak Filters set to Off and generous rate limits.
  3. Mail Policies → Incoming Mail Policies — optionally add a policy matching PhishGrid senders with Anti-Spam / URL Filtering disabled.
  4. Security Services → URL Filtering / Outbreak Filters — ensure URLs from your PhishGrid domains are not rewritten.

Console menus and labels vary by product version and edition — use these as a guide and confirm against your gateway's admin documentation. Always whitelist the current values from Sending Domains & IPs, and send a 5–10 user test campaign before launching organisation-wide.
